An interactive installation giving physical form and shape to low frequency sound at the cusp of human hearing. Created in collaboration with Artist and Technologist Mike Blow.

The audience is invited to touch the ‘pods’, feeling the resonance that low frequency sound creates upon the skin of the balloons and to press their ears to the surface to listen to the humming sounds within. ‘Pod’ translates the low frequency sounds into a visual object to be heard, seen and felt. With their own physical presence, the sounds can be experienced in new ways, associating a size and shape with the frequencies being heard.
