Considering the volume of fermented beverages we go through at the Good Food Revolution offices, it's surprising that we have never really expanded our drinking/tasting horizons into the wonderful world of sake.

In an effort to correct this we hooked up with sake expert Mariko Tijiri of That's Life Gourmet, who proceeded to lead us on a most enjoyable crash course into what is misleadingly referred to as Rice Wine... and then as an added bonus took us on a tour of some exquisite artisanal Shochu.
