Cracker - David Pasternack
The is a music video for the song "Cracker" by David Pasternack, from his upcoming EP "System of a Clown".
It is entirely written in Java, mainly using the Graphics2D Class and Buffered Images.
What you see are digital brushes, some sine and cos transformation for the wandering and neighbour check between the brushes. When they are near each other they draw ornaments. I would have loved to put in an evolutionary system here, but didn't got it right. Maybe in the next project...
As you will hear, "Cracker" sounds very much like a summer hit. So this is the theme of the video, how the transition of winter to summer will looks like in the System of a Clown. Enjoy. Hope you like it.

moka 2 years agoReally lovely! Pushing this into 3D would be really awesome I guess! Even though the 2D has its own flair too. Nice music! -
