A conversation at COSI with Ohio D-Day veterans Tony Maricevich and Don Jakeway, recorded on Thursday, May 29, 2014. Maricevich, a veteran of the 101st Airborne Division, and Jakeway, a veteran of the 82nd Airborne Division, here recount some of their personal experiences at D-Day on June 6, 1944 in Normandy, France, as they participated in the largest amphibious assault in history.

Now showing on the National Geographic Giant Screen Theater at COSI, "D-Day: Normandy 1944." On June 6, 1944, the largest Allied operation of World War II began in Normandy, France. For the first time ever on giant screens, “D-Day: Normandy 1944” provides a new perspective to audiences of all ages of this monumental event that changed the world. Narrated by Tom Brokaw, the film pays tribute to those who gave their lives for our freedom.
