2. I disagree with the often heared statement, that JHWH is the name of God: Instead I see it as the answer to Moses, meaning "I am who I am". In other words: "I am holy, and you shall not give me a name, as peagans do give names to their idols, just as if they were living, however they are stone and wood. Not so with me."
That JHWH is not God's name, is also supported in the new testament. There is the name Jesus Christ. As God became man, this man had a name. Acts 4:12 sais:
"Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." Who can save? Only God can. And only in this name Jesus Christ anyone can be saved, in no other name. This also means you cannot be saved in Mohammed's name. I think, muslims will agree. Please also read Philippians 2, 5-11. Clearly Jesus Christ is the only name. Did Jesus, and did Paul not know JHWH? Yes, both did. Still they said, that Jesus Christ is the only name. This shows that JHWH is no name like John, Bill or Frank, but it is the statement, that men shall not give a name to the most high, "ala".
In the name Jesus there is no formula. Jesus is a common name in Spain and South America. There is no power in it. It is the authority that Jesus got from the Father, in which is the power. He always was in full agreement with the Father. This is the reason for His authority. And this full agreement in all aspect is good reason to say he is one with the Father. Jesus, the Father and the Holy Spirit fully agree in all aspect. So they are one and have God's full authority.
All three are mentioned in the Koran, too. Can't you see they are one? If not, you may assume that they disagree. No they don't. But we human people of pride do. And then we assume that there can be no unity. However, The only true God is ONE - that is in 100% agreement always. So we Christians worship not three Gods, but only one: The most high. I let you call him "ala". I have no objections. Maybe you allow me me call him ala, the father, ala the son and ala, the Holy Spirit. I believe in this ONE God. And I do not believe that these "three" ever disagree, as that would make them three beings.
I know, in the video it was a point that JHWH is the proper name of God, which is not mentioned as name of God in the Koran. In this particular aspect I think the Koran is closer to God's idea about His name than your point is.
Right?
3. When Mohammed came to Mekka, he found 365 idols. He destroyed all but the last one. This last idol is the Kaaba, that black stone all muslims have to visit once in life if they can afford the travel cost to Mekka.
Question: Does anybody know, Why Mohammed saved this particular idol? Why was it better than the others he destroyed? I have asked that question to many muslims and I never god an answer that would indicate that this last idol was somenthing better. So: It seems to me that it also is nothing but an idol. I know this will provoke muslims. But this is not what I want. I simply could not find an answer. Maybe, there is a good answer and I only don't know it yet. Go ahead, tell me. If there really is not a good answer: Why do muslims not have the courage to call it what it is: an idol?
Coming back to my first point: God has not changed. Man's pride is the problem. It also is the problem in the case of the Kaaba. If muslims could really prove that it is God's genuine will to worship this idol, I would do so.
(But first they would have to convince me that God contradicts his own earlier statements. It is so many times that he warned us of worshipping idols, and not once that he asked us to do so.) So far they could not. But I am open to what God sais. What counts is His neverchanging will, not our selfish human pride.
Everything I so far have received from God is love, much love, very very much love. Not once have I received hatred from him. Let me offer to pass on this love to anyone who wants it. I will be glad to pass it on to you in a personal email exchange - no matter, what faith or even lack of faith you may have now. I needed God's love, and I think, you do, too. That love is so much better than feeding our egos by discussing, who is more right. Let's go on in genuine search for trueth in love.
4. A prophet is judged by the question if his prophecies come true or not. The following would be a very poor answer: "God changend his mind and today wants the contrary of what he wanted yesterday." In this case prophets could easly get along with false prophecies not coming true. God simply had changed his mind. So the old prophecy all at a sudden became invalid, and a contradicting new one became valid instead.
Question: How comes that Mohammed first had a friendly attitude towards Christians and jews, but later called his followers to kill them? Was this a genuine prophecy? If not: The contradicting statements in the koran prove that he was not a prophet: God didn't change, but his human pride did. In his human pride he, Mohammed, changed his mind. God did not change his mind. He still loves every jew, every Christian and every muslim. How do you respond to his love? Love him, too. And love other peolple. Jesus, when asked, what is the most important commandment, said: "Love God with all your heart and mind. And the other one is equal: You shall love your neighbor as you love yourself." Is this not so much better than hating others for nurishing one's pride?
5. Trinity. The koran sais that Christians have three Gods, that they call "trinity": God, the Father, Jesus Christ, and Mary.
This never was trinity. Trinity means God, the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.
Mohammed should have known better. But he didn't. He simply was in a big error. He made a false statement and thus showed his lack of understanding of what he was talking about. How can he call such lack of knowledge a prophecy? God never said that Mary is part of the trinity. This is the product of poor information and half-knowledge. This is dangerous, and it is not the trueth. This is proven to be false.
Now let's ask: Can a prophet be still of good value, if he sometimes sais false things, sometimes sais correct things? Yes. All men have sinned, All have their errors. They are human beings. Accordingly their value is limited.
Jesus, however, made not one false statement. He was a prophet, that always spoke the trueth. He never had to change his statements. He never acted by human pride. The koran and the bible say that he rose from the dead. Mohammed did not. Why? Mohammed was a limited man like you and me. His prophecies are limited and in the case of trinity characterized by error, in the case of attitudes towards jews and Christians marked by human pride.
Jesus, however probably doesn't like this "Who is right?" kind of thing. Yes, he answers our questions. But he does so in love. His attitude is: "Say the trueth in love".
If I didn't do it well enough, too, forgive me. I am a limited man, but I am willing to improve.
Let's follow Him. Just as He loves them, Let's also love muslims, let's love jews, let's love Christians, and let's love those who not yet believe in God - no matter to which group we may belong to.
In closing I want to point out that we have a common enemy. That is Satan. He wants us to have pride, strong egos, much sin etc. He wants us to kill each other. He wants us to be destroyd.
Would you please unite with me in prayer to ala, our one and common God, for his protection and victory against Satan, our one and common enemy.
Thank you.
Islam makes you doubt ALL the revelations of God given to humanity before Muhammad was born. Isn't that convenient? God sent dozens of prophets, each that confirmed the next, and foretold the coming of the Messiah who would die for the sins of the world. They said that the Messiah would bing an end to the prophets, bring the final Covenant, and that false prophets would come after the Messiah.
In the New Testament of Jesus Christ, God warned us that Satan the devil would come as an angel of light and preach a false religion. All the prophets of God spoke with God, however, the false prophet Mohammad spoke with an angel only! Look at what God warned us; 'And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.' (2 Corinthians 11:14) and 'But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed!' (Galatians 1:8) Mohammad met Satan 600 years after God warned us in the New Testament, and then Satan, calling himself 'allah', created the false religion of Islam.
The entire purpose of Islam is to deny everything that God revealed through the prophets, and finally, in the person of Jesus Christ. Between the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls, which are over 2000 years old and match perfectly what we use today, and the 24000 manuscripts of the New Testament, we can know 100% for certain that The Bible has never been changed. Infact, The Bible is the most trust worthy book in all of antiquity. Muslims claim their scriptures are authentic because they haven't changed in 1400 years. While that is simply not true, the more important fact is that The Bible has been proven to be preserved for over 2000 years. It is an old Islamic lie to claim The Bible is corrupt, because if The Bible is true, that means Islam is not true; The Bible teaches the total opposite of the quran.
God would never make us trust a single prophet; how could we verify that his words are true? God instead gave us many prophets, and they all confirmed each other. The only thing Jesus ever said about Muhammad was this; 'This is the antichrist, he who denies that Jesus is the Christ. No one who denies the Son has the Father. He who confesses the Son has the Father also.' (1 John 2:22-23) 'you have heard that the antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have comeā¦' (1 John 2:18) Mohammed and all the Muslims reject the Son of God, so they are all anti-christs according to the New Testament scriptures.
Muslims claim that The Old Testament and the New Testament are not trustworthy, because they believe mankind corrupted them. However, in the Old Testament, God promised to preserve His word forever. 'As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever. ' (Isaiah 59:21) and 'The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.' (Psalms 12:6-7). So, either Islam is a lie, or Islam's god 'allah' is weak and can not preserve his word as promised.
So, in conclusion; Satan used Muhammad to create a religion that denies the truth God revealed to humanity, in order to damn as many souls as possible by making them anti-christs.
