A not so normal snowfall in Austin TX. I decided to go out and get a few shots since we don't see snow here too often, especially the big snow flakes. I was a bit scared to take my 7D and lenses into the snow so I retrofitted a big ziplock bag around it. This seemed to work ok, but a bit of a pain to use.
The squirrel is one of my backyard locals and is always around the area. He definitely looked cold out there, I think he was surprised by the snow too!
The concept for the edit came to mind when I heard the song. This is a mix of 24p & 60p.
