Goed wijzer is the final product from the master graduation of Mitchell Jacobs. Active classroom participation led to the goal:
“ I want to develop a clock reading tool to enable a child to learn autonomous with his preferred method in the classroom, combining todays technological possibilities with embodied learning”. Several prototyping and testing iterations led to the final product, Goed Wijzer, a clock reading experience for children age 7 to 9 years. Goed Wijzer consist of an application, a physical clock and tools. The interactions from the children with the clock and tools are being registered and function as input for the clock reading lesson in the application to enable children to learn by doing.
