My new job took me to the financial district too many times a week. There isn't much to enjoy down in that part of town; geometric sculpture here, geometric painting there and a hell of a lot of glass. Once you make the turn North and cross the Brooklyn Bridge threshold you enter Chinatown a thriving neighborhood full of angry Chinese immigrants in a rush, it's a great place to be lost. Once you spot the Manhattan Bridge head towards the West and find the footpath to Brooklyn. This walk offers some of my favorite views of lower Manhattan.
