All You Need...
A micro-musical about the one true universal necessity in life, told in a cryptic seemingly nonsensical narrative.
This animation contains many homages to all the influences on my life, my favorite artists, animators (obvious nods to Paul Robertson, Jamie Caliri, among many many others), illustrators, shows, games, music (duh) and movies.
I hopes you likes it. And even if ya don't, I thank ya for taking the time to be here and sit through it.

Yeah, it was all drawn in my sketchbook first, inked and scanned. Cut out in photoshop (i kept in all the little messy pencil sketchinesses and lead smudges, 'cause i liked how they looked close up.)
The song was just something me and my little niece started singing one day, and it stuck in my head. Sort of how the sketches are a little messy, so are the instruments.. The guitar and the piano haven't been tuned in forever, but I liked the way it kind of stuck together dissonantly (if that's a word.)
I made the animation to sort of be like "hey! look what I did with our song!" but she (my niece) was really kind of creeped out by it. Too young to not be, I reckon.
Holy shats, I'm still really grateful that you people got to watch it! haha, It's really neat, because I'm at my job right now hating my life, so you guys kind of brightened up my day! Thanks!
As for the red cross thing, that's hilarious! What an idea, though!
photoshop and after fx?
I used to hate aftereffects, and used a program called Moho, but once I finally wrapped my head around After effects, I can't go back.
And to everyone else: thanks an assload for the kind comments! I hope my next one is as well liked, har har.
i used it, but i prefer afx, powerful :D
That's some great style we've got here :) Keep it up!
