I've never noticed any aphrodisiac effects from eating asparagus.

I'm impressed. Your allotment, garden and greenhouse all look beautifully taken care of - bet a lot more than 10 mins work goes into 'em. So true about the taste of fresh-picked veggies - another planet altogether. If I had a garden like yours I'd love to grow raspberries. Special request in a few weeks' time: a video of the produce of the garden in the kitchen when Monsieur le Chef Guillaume (that's you Bill) turns his talents to the pots and pans. Good video Bill. Now where've my tinnies gone..? Thirsty work watching videos....

We've got loads of Raspberry canes.....and strawberries, gooseberries, redcurrants, blackcurrants, plums etc. It's a bit early for fruit but I will document their progress. This is such an exciting time of the year if you like gardening and growing stuff. Thanks Amenon.

Janice wants to have another garden this year. Every time we do it the rabbits and deer just eat everything before we get a chance. Looks like we will be feeding them again this year.

    Nice day!

I love your description of how time spent working can't be defined in a linear sense. Brilliant! I'm going to use that at work.

Nice garden too! Can't wait to have one myself!

I have had to develop many excuses for being a lazy git.....but that is one of my best.

Was that Russell Brand in the background at the end?
  • Bill 2 months ago
It was. Well spotted. Although I originally thought he was a complete knob-head, I have to confess that I am addicted to his Saturday night show on Radio 2.
