General George Washington and the continental army's historic crossing of the Delaware River on Christmas Day, 1776, to attack British and Hessian troops in Trenton, NJ is re-enacted in this 5:25 video presentation. This event was a major turning point in America's war for independence. This video was shot on December 25, 2009 at the 57th annual re-enactment at Washington's Crossing Historic Park in Washington's Crossing, PA. Green Birdie Productions thanks the many volunteer re-enactors who made this presentation possible.
