Loved it! I also use the 7D and it's one of the best things that has happened to me =D

Anyway, I was wondering what kind of lenses did you use for your night shots? Didn't notice much grain and the lighting was good
  • salvus plus 1 year ago
thank you very much, I used fast nikon and canon lenses in the range of f1.4 to f2.8

Thanks Salvus for the quick reply. I'm still getting used to manually focusing my shots, but everything's good.

Will be waiting for your next video!

  • Salvus, what lenses exactly did you use? Any color correction? Nice video...de donde eres? La foto de tu perfil se parece mucho a Cotopaxi.
  • salvus plus 1 year ago
    I use canon: 24mm f1.4L II, 15mm f2.8 fisheye, 50mm f1.4, 55-250mm f4/5.6, and nikon 35mm f2.8.
There is a little color correction to average some of the colors and to enrich the image, and it was done inside finalcut pro. I am italian, sorry I understand spanish but I don't speak it. No the mount is fuji, is a photo I shot in japan

i love thailand, you really captured the heart of the city beautifully...amazing work! you're my favourite travel documentary video shooter on vimeo!

separately, thanks for sharing your set up. do you shoot handheld or do you use any stabilizers or rigs?
  • salvus plus 1 year ago
Hi Paul, thank you very much. I use different setups, from just handheld with a viewfinder, to a shoulder rig. Now I have a better rig, so much more stable handheld shootings, I hope I will shoot something soon.
