Public transportation in St. Louis is not just MetroLink and MetroBus. It is also Call-A-Ride, Metro's paratransit service that takes elderly and disabled riders where they need to go in the community, including to work, to healthcare, to life in general. Stuart & Dianne Falk use Metro's Call-A-Ride service to get from their nursing facility in Ballwin to where they need to go to live their lives. When service was reduced in March 2009, the Falks lost access to Call-A-Ride service and felt "trapped". See how public transit means freedom to thousands of St. Louis.
