Last year, I took a trip with a half-dozen colleagues from Planit, the agency in which I am the Interactive Art Director, to the MIXX Conference in NYC. This is just a quick glimpse of the experience. To say the least the trip was underwhelming from an R&D standpoint. The "experts" all seemed to say the same thing--that no one knows what's coming next in the world of interactive. The knowledge that I did come home with was that our agency in small old Baltimore was up-to-speed, if not beyond that of some of the major players in NYC and beyond. Regardless, the time spent there was a lot of fun, and hope to do it again in years to come.
