Fan Letter: 26 Artists and Designers Present Their Favorite Letter or Typographic Character

Fan Letter is where local, national, and internationally-based designers and artists give an ode to their favorite alphabet letter or typographic character. It was organized and emceed by Bruce Willen and Nolen Strals of Post Typography. Two events were held in conjunction with their new book from Princeton Architectural Press, Lettering & Type: Creating Letters and Designing Typefaces—on October 29th, 2009 in their native Baltimore at the Maryland Institute College of Art, and the other in New York City on November 17th at the Cooper Union.
