The cows walk towards their stable, docile from a morning in the meadow, herded by John Twyford, a student from Emerson College who is doing his six-month placement at Plaw Hatch Farm. While connecting the milk machine to their udders he talks about how the cows are being treated in a healthy and disease-free way.
One reason why John likes to work at Plaw Hatch farm is because the milk the cows give is produced into delicious yogurt and cheese on the farm itself - giving plenty of learning opportunity for John.
