Ezra and I met up at the lower NW bench of Merriam Crater (located NE of Flagstaff, AZ, 6300') this past Thursday. It was a beautiful day... mostly sunny with puffy clouds.... cool/cold (46°). There was a nice 8-12+ breeze blowing from the NW-NNW. We get this direction after a storm passes through (backside of the LOW). The lift is usually good. The thermals were active. This is a perfect condition for our Le Fish gliders...flying low and slow VTPR-style.

We enjoyed chasing each other around... had three mid-airs. Ezra got the one "kill." We also had numerous soft crashes... with little damage. You got to love foam!
