My very first attempt at stop motion, submitted as my final art project for sophomore year. My theme was 'time.' It's really rough, but it was kind of rushed and I didn't spend as much time on it as I should have.

The idea is that people change like seasons, and what goes around must come back around. Over time, we are affected by the world around us, and when we feel like it's time for change, we let go of the things that define us in the moment. Most of the time, we can't see ourselves changing. We just see and feel all the new things that have started happening to us. In the end, we all come back to where we came from -- nothing.

Art, photography, cinematography, directing, editing, and concept all by yours truly.

* I'd like to thank Hampus Blomqvist, who is the most patient model I've ever worked with. I don't think anyone else would have agreed to sitting still for three hours while I put paint and a bunch of other things on their back.

Shot with a Nikon D5000 with a AF-S DX 35mm f/1.8 DX lens.
