Bullying is a serious mental health issue for all students in a classroom or school who may be involved in any way, for the target (victim), and the bullier, as well as the witnesses (bystanders). Research finds that witnesses often can feel depressed or anxious because they feel helpless to stop the aggression. That's why Mental Health America-Indiana supports the training of all students, school teachers and staff - and parents - so students understand the power they have to stop a bullying situation.
