With regards performance, where you check for empty blog folders using Count > 0. AFIK, this will cause linq to iterate over your whole collection to get the count. If you just want to check they are not empty, you can use Any(), which just calls movenext on IEnumerable and save a few cpu cycles by not iterating over the whole collection.
