I see a woman standing in the middle of a dark city. Where the hell am I? Where am I supposed to go? Where is my comfortable home, the consoling place where I belong? Without a purpose, I look amongst the buildings in a busy city where the woman is standing. The city is chaotic and is filled with pandemonium. Regardless, the woman starts laughing and utters, “Yes, this is my hometown.”

I first got my inspiration from the song called, “Nostalgia” by YMO. Like the title states, I wanted to express the feeling of sadness mixed with pleasure and affection, however, in our generation, nature don’t always correspond with our hometown. The birthplace of these people and where they matured is a place where countless number of buildings exists, tall enough to cover the sky.
