A Incerteza (The Uncertainty) was a dance research project supported by the Fórum Internacional de Dança 2009 (FID), through the Programa Território Minas, from March to October 2009 at Belo Horizonte/MG/Brazil. It started proposing the investigation of the science notions of time (mainly Newton's, Einstein's and Ilya Prigogine's) and how they could affect dance. Further on the investigation, questions about determinism, predictability and reversibility (such as its antonyms) showed up as important ways of the research, and were deeply connected to music (mainly on the execution process, with random electronic music) and video (mainly on the pre-creation process). The demonstration of the questions on dance form happened on October 29th and 30th, 2009, during the FID 2009 presentations schedule, and the provisory research report was published on the FID 2009 catalog.
