This piece comes from ms. Balcarres, p. 85. The title is "My Mistress is Prettie, by monsieur Mouton". The melody is also known by names "La Mantovana", "Branle de Mantove", etc., etc... The instrument is 11-course baroque lute made by Lars Jönsson in 1993. Arto Wikla 1.3.2010.
