The second Node asks visitors to plot points on the screen in front of them. These points are connected to form a grid that is then used to create a unique logo to which will then be used throughout the exhibition. This Node uses a Kinect sensor that creates a 3D scan of that person to be used later in the Creation Node and online applications. This can be used to calculate the visitors height and arm span.
This Node calls on data from the previous (introductory Node) to address users by their first name. Meta U is all about personal data, any instructions during the experience will utilise the previously gathered information to provide interactions that feel personal. Which in turn makes the exhibit feel a lot less frightening. Logos created by the user will appear on various exhibit furniture around the experience, as well as being visible when users activate their Meta ID’s when using the mobile app or website.
