Another mesoscale convective system (Big-A$$ Thunderstorm) rolled through the Midwest early this morning. In its wake, a gentle rain fell for a few hours. I took advantage of the rain, to video the rain and Eastern Bluebirds. Currently they are transitioning from their first brood of the season to their second. Mom is already incubating a new clutch of eggs while dad takes care of two chicks who now are capable of feeding themselves.
This video was filmed entirely in slow-motion (96fps) using the Panasonic Lumix GH4 and the Tamron 150-600mm lens adapted for the GH4.
