lovely work...can you explain how do you do it in quartz composer....

The quartz composer archive is just a simple square, I published the height and width parameters. All the movement and the reaction to sound was applied through vdmx.

No way getting more minimal than this, or is there? :)

There's always a way... A line instead a square? xD

Then you get 2 dimensions. Try dot! Wait a minute...even -blank- should do ;)

A blinking blank, the flicker, one of my favourite cinema genres...

Yes, I know Blinkity Blank, I have a friend who sometimes call me blinky blank xD I've even watched it at cinema once, but I prefer more minimal things. Norman McLaren has other films that I like more, maybe my favorite is Synchromy.

I don't wanna invade this video's chatter space anymore, Excuse me for adding one last word off-topic.

    B. Blank is one of his earlier stuff, clues about what he is gonna offer next. Synchromy is amongst my fav. too, others are the jazzy madness Begone Dull Care, more minimal portions of A Phantasy and Mosaic. I'm thrilled to see someone who appreciates Laren.
