Former atheist Ian McCormack shares his encounter with God and Heaven. Compare the stunning similarities between Ian's account and Sarah's case (#3523) on NDERF.org See art prodigy Akiane Kremarik's work at akiane.com/video In the book Heaven Is For Real, Colton Burpo's parents show him a bunch of paintings of Jesus after he tells them that he has been to Heaven and met Jesus, his great grandfather, and miscarried sister. He had no previous knowledge of the miscarriage. The child died before Colton's parents even knew if the fetus was male or female. Colton dismisses all the paintings of Jesus as faulty until he is shown Prince of Peace by child art prodigy, Akiane Kremarik. He stated that this was an accurate portrayal. Akiane's mother was an atheist and her father was a former catholic who had given up on his faith. She received visions of Heaven and Jesus when she was only four years old. When she was eight she decided she desperately wanted to paint a portrait of how Jesus appeared to her in her vision. She prayed for hours that God would send the right model for her to use. That day a mysterious carpenter came to the Kremarik's home. Akiane knew immediately that this mysterious man looked a lot like Jesus and decided to use him to paint Prince of Peace.
