On Track is a charity event created and curated by Whitehouse Institute of Design third year Styling and Creative Direction students in support of National Youth Mental Health Foundation, headspace. headspace helps young people aged 12-25 years who are going through a tough time.
The event aims to raise the profile and increase awareness of the charity by erasing the stigma behind mental illness by celebrating the services of headspace, with a track and field athletics theme.
The venue; Whitehouse Institute of Design will be transformed into an athletics field that contains a running track, hurdles and high/long jump obstacles that are representing the real life barriers of mental illness.
Entertainment throughout the night will include live music, interactive art, pop up stalls and a fashion runway show.
The interactive and fun environment, entertainment and popular graphics that will share information, will remove the stigma surrounding the conversation of mental health.
