In 2009 University Hospital invested in the daVinci Si, the most advanced daVinci surgical robot in the region. By combining computer and robotic technologies with the expertise and skills of a UofL Surgeon it is possible to treat a broader range of conditions using a minimally invasive approach. It means fewer chances for complications, improved recovery times, and better over all outcomes.
