yes some 7d + MB
I remember some of its members were actively involved in the Cuban gay and lesbians rights movement.
I didn't include anyone who specifically protested and this isnt a for profit venture so I feel morally secure.
Nonetheless, Cuban's were extremely natural in front of the camera and usually greeted me with a smile.
trailer de un largometraje docu que hicimos en cuba durante muchos anos ....
buen trabajo el tuyo !
Olivier .
¡Felicitaciones! Gran trabajo.
as a photographer too, and having studied at the cuba international film school, i salute you.
as i already read some of your answers, you shot with RED and 7D, rignt? did you rent the RED over there, with the people from Island Film?
and the magic bullet that you referred, was the Final Cut filter?
You've had been in Havana before, or was this your first time?
As someone who lived there, i was really touched by some of the images.
Gracias, compay!
Cheers
the Red was my own- brought there for another project
it was my first time in Havana
and yes Magic Bullet for final cut. But I dont think its better than Color except that you can add vignettes more quickly and effectively.
that's my demo reel, with things made back there at the filming school. actually, there are some workshops from and for canadians at the school in cuba. And some interchange programs as well, between the school and some universities in Quebec.
i'm brazilian, and so if you're ever coming to Brazil to shoot something, look me up.
also, i'm buying a 7D as I already have some good canon lenses from the time i worked as a still photographer.
what are your opinions about this camera?
thanks
the 7d is a pretty nice little camera. the price/quality ratio is crazy good. i much prefer the 5dmkII though. the full frame depth of field isn't available in any other camera + the low light performance is so much better on the 5dMkII

soy cubano también realizo producciones con la 7D, este es un ejemplo,

mi sueño es viajar a cuba captar esa sensibilidad que muestras en tu trabajo
thank..
wath lens are used???
i was mostly using my old crappy nikon zoom with an adapter.
it would have been nice to have some real glass (l-series).
focusing ans stability was a real issue. next time ill get some real canon lenses.
RED camera did you use? is very difficult to lead a RED ONE to havana
or only you used your canon nikon zoom 7D?
Cuba is a great place, very authentic
pd: Cierto que hablas español jaj.
Muy buen video, Felicitaciones y Saludos desde Argentina. =)
I dont know about that sorry. I havnt tested/tried it.
And the woman at the end is just gorgeous!!!
Saludos de un cubano.
Defiantly the best travel video on Vimeo.
Beautifully captured and the girl at the end oh wow!
I'm talking about this video on my blog tatami.sushiadv.com
Felicidades hermano!
Gracias
¿De donde eres, vives, etc?
The confident walk of the young lady to the Balcony overlooking the street gives rise to optimism for the country's revival.
Great stuff!
So real!

but yours is so much better, well done Amigo.
my cuba)
thanks.
nice video )
Last scene struck me as how I imagine Cuba itself; sassy and sexy yet also quiet and beautiful.
I feel the piece is more reflective than anything.
However by belief is that the meaning of a piece of art exists only between the artifice and the perceiver.
The intention of the 'artist' only exists as what the viewer sees it to be.
Thank you so much.
Vraiment beau.
Merci
