"Rose Canyon Willow Planting" shows students from the Roots and Shoots Club at University City High School planting willow cuttings in Rose Canyon Open Space Park in San Diego, CA.  Friends of Rose Canyon organized this volunteer project.  Storm water run-off causes erosion in many of San Diego's canyons.  While not a solution, willows can help stabilize the soil.
