I completed this movie in 2006. Future by Design -- a documentary about the life and work of futurist and inventor Jacque Fresco -- has played at over 15 film festivals worldwide. Released on DVD in 2007, the movie has become a cult hit after the amazing internet success of Zeitgeist Addendum -- a movie that prominently features Jacque Fresco and his idea of a resource-based economy.

    It is nice sounding but sounds very marxist. What happens to the few who dont believe in the utopia? They will be re educated for the good of the whole, correct!?

    Instead I think that changing the law regarding Corporations, and waking people up to the dumbing down education system will make a large effect.

    Superb! Even if Mr. Frescos specific ideas and visions should fail utterly or be wrong altogether, the actual idea of an holistic sustainable future with ourselves as a species in focus is the biggest (and only afaik) step towards...the future I guess :P
