For the last time this season the SolmarV bound for the Socorro Islands. We didn't receive a warm welcome at the island of San Benedicto were we started the trip. Due to a storm that had just passed over the island we dove the first 2 days in green and cold water. When we moved on to Roca Partida that was immediately forgotten as we spend 3 wonderful days with near perfect conditions at the rock. Lot's of marine life including massive bonita schools, sharks and manta rays made it kind of hard for us to imagine spending the next 4 months without any of these creatures. Back at San Benedicto we ended the season with extremely entertaining mantas, dolphins and even a whale shark. However the highlight of the trip was clearly at Roca Partida when we came across an old friend, just unbelievable is all I can say - check it out.
I hope you guys enjoyed the time aboard the SolmarV and don't forget to tune back in in November for the new Socorro season opener...
