Created as part of my thesis exhibition, this project started out as a poster which promoted a clothing release at the Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center that featured a Saturn V rocket. It quickly evolved into an animation, taking over a year to produce (as I worked on it primarily in my 'off-hours') As the story, sequences, and scope grew, I realized the project would help me learn dozens of new skills and animation techniques.

Keep in mind that no part of the movie was filmed. The entirety of Assignment: Moon was created using digitally manipulated still photographs, 3d models, environments, and effects, and 2.1D animation techniques.
