Light Up Bristol 2007
In December 2007, College Green in Bristol (UK) did undergo a magical transformation into five nights of Winter Wonderland.
This dazzling event, from Bristol Media and the West of England Design Forum, projected festive moving images across the whole of the Council House, College Green and the Cathedral.
The visual content is so good you could almost forget these guys are projecting on a 130meters long building !!
Special treats included:
- Specially created films and animation by some of Bristol’s leading creative talent
- Content projected 400ft across Bristol’s Council House
- Spectacular lights by Fossil Optical across the Cathedral and College Green
- Festive winter warmers including Mulled Wine, Chestnuts and beers from Bath Ales
- Nightly live VJ finale from the world-renowned Anti VJ
Technical setup and media streaming by Digital Slaves
Video by Jerome Monnot
Music : Apparat "like porcelain"(BPitch Control)
Additional camera work : Seb Rabas
Commissioned by the Watershed for AntiVj.
Many thanks to Apparat and Bpitch Control for letting me use the music.
