Script Event

As part of our project we hosted a script even day, in collaboration with the Birmingham charity Script, and Trinket Creative; a group of fellow students specialising in PR.

For the event we invited a number of scriptwriters to attend a series of workshops in the morning and then in the afternoon they pitched their ideas to us and a panel of professionals within the Media industry. We then went away to discuss which script we would like to make.

Trainer by Helen Kelly was chosen and we have since been working closely with her for script development. Trainer is set against the backdrop of the old Longbridge Rover site and shows the relationship between a young swimmer and her male trainer.
