This is my short film from my 3rd year at Calarts in 2003. It tells the story of a little stuffed dog who defends his girl from a scary monster in the dead of the night. The biggest challenges I faced on this film were crafting an effective story(big thanks to Josh Look who helped me tremendously), designing a scary enough monster, using color for the first time, using lighting effectively, creating effective action sequences with moving background elements and attempting to create more dimensional backgrounds. As you can see I didn't finish animating this film. I tried my best, but deadlines at Calarts always come quicker then you think! The music in this film is not owned by me. It is a mixture of The Abyss soundtrack by James Horner and the Deep Impact soundtrack by James Horner.
