    What lenses did you use on the 7D and how did you get the dolly move at 3:18?

    David- I used a 16-35 L 2.8 and a 70-200 L IS. For the dolly move, i had a mini slider.

    The only problem i have with my 7d is that i bring it everywhere and i tend to shoot everything. now i have a shit load of footage waiting to get edited. Other than that, camera is pretty solid!!! Oh audio sucks on the camera.

    I was thinking 7d too but when you said the audio sucks it brought my hopes down, so I was wondering what could be a solid camera with video recording?

    7D is probably the best "video" camera you can get for the price. If you treat it like a film camera and record external audio, you'll get better video and better audio than any camera in the sub-$10,000 range, for a lot less.

    That's incredible. I did not expect this to be shot with a DSLR for one second, and was floored when I read the reply. I was expecting it to be a GL2 or similar, splendid job! Was the "mini slider" dolly a custom build of sorts?

    I gotta get me one of those GoPro HDs. I have a brand new SD one that I can't use because of the quality and can't get rid of because everyone wants the HD! Haha Cool video though.

    Man I just lost one of those GoPro HDs camera. Was street drifting in Hawaii last week and it magically disappeared. Yea go for the HD version. You can even shoot 60fps. pretty dope!!

    dopeee! loved the vid. i remember seein u at the event and was gonna ask to skate wit u guys...but i didnt want to barge in and be an asshole haha. i was curious. around 2:52 in the video u were following this guys wit a brown and red/orange jacket. and there was all that depth of field. how did u do that? was it just focusing or did u actually do some sort of trick? i loved that shot.

    Glad you like the vid. Oh man, yea you should have got in our game of SKATE. We are chill so wouldn't have mind. Next time for sure. That one shot at 2:52, i was in a truck going back to the pit area. Was just shooting out from the passenger seat. Got lucky with the shot. haha

    Very enjoyable 4 minutes. As much as I want a slider too I can see how you'd get some what sick of the same old sliding angles, having said that, I am far from sick of watching them :)

    Hey man, very nice video. It sucks when i see this beautiful work and i can't go participate because i have no car, and even if i did, i don't have a license. I'm thinking about starting to film, and photograph like this as a hobby to try and get the pain of not being able to fulfill my passion because when i use my creative side i can do some crazy stuff. Any tips for a teenager?
