Sixteen Tons was a project I recently completed, utilizing stickering/graffiti to tell a narrative. Using the lyrics from Tennessee Ernie Fords' song of the same name, I wanted to draw a connection between coal mining days past and the deep ties Lansing (and greater Michigan) has to the auto industry.
