Some of my freinds and I recently spent the day railfanning the Funnel in Idaho. I shot this video on my 3CCD Panasonic DV Cam and output it to the wmv at 720/60p @ 5Mbp. I hope all the people intrested in railroad related videos like my shots.

Thanks for the watching of this shot, I will post more soon from this outting.

    Hey Ross-
Great video! Was that first shot at West Hauser? I was there in 2000, before the new Main Line Fuel Rack.
If you are local to the area, I would LOVE to see a nice HD video of a Eastbound Stack train Thundering around Trinadad Loop!
    Just a thought.

Yes, we were heading west when I spotted this train.

I was at the Trinadad loop last year and caught a boeing/intermodal but at the time I was only shooting stills. My videos are not always the best as I still shoot still images with my Canon while the camcorder does its thing. I know one of the guys I railfan with is wanting to head back up there so we might do that this summer.

The camcorder I am using is a Panasonic PV-GS320 it is a SD only cam. I upscale the DV file so it is better looking, leaving it to Standard Def is not that great. I am thinking of getting the HV30 Canon HD camera today, now that I have found this site it will make it worth it.
