The Swan Lake, is a fairy tale-ballet in four acts structured, which was commissioned by the Bolshoi Theatre in 1875 and was released in 1877 The music was composed by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.; it is your op. 20 and is the first of his ballets. In the original production the choreography was created by Julius Reisinger. The script is believed to have been written by Vladimir Petrovich Begichev and Vasily Geltser, based on the German fairy geraubte Der Schleier (The Stolen Veil) by Johann Karl August Musäus. The first performance took place on March 4, 1877. Since then, numerous revisions and stage effects are kept fresh this underrated work so that by the mid-40s of the twentieth century began to be widely recognized as a paradigm of ballet. The Swan Lake danced to the music of Tchaikovsky is currently one of the most famous ballet world titles and one of the greatest artistic exports of imperial Russia, Dancers as great as Anna Pavlova and Rudolf Nureyev have left their mark on master this enduring work.
