“THE LONG WINTER”
Exhibition & Performance by Davin Watne - Main Gallery
Davin Watne has been an artist in the Kansas City art scene since 1990. He received his BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute in 1994 and is currently a Review Studio recipient. Watne’s work explores the theme of collisions and the colliding paths of shared habitat between large mammals and human traffic. He has been awarded several grant awards and public commissions including The Charlotte Street Foundation Award, ArtsKC Inspiration Grant, and Avenue of Arts Municipal Arts Grant. “THE LONG WINTER” is a new project that is contained in two phases; the first being a performance or “party” opening night, and phase two consisting of the “party’s” residue.
