i created a new preset that seems to work very well in every situation.
I called it Vision because it's colorimetry remembers me the Kodak Vision2 (with the due respect....)

I recommend using -3dB gain and i suggest using the manual color temperature to adjust the overall look.

    Hello there! First of all, this is a beautiful video, congrats. I've always been a user of the HVR-Z1U from Sony, but I am falling in love with the XHA1 from Canon. My question is, are you using custom lenses or kits with that rig? what kind of recording modes does the camera have? is this video recorded in some kind of "movie like" mode? Thanks and sorry for the stupid questions :)

    Yes i use a 35mm adapter with Nikon photo lenses.
    The camera has 1080i and 1080p modes, the 1080p mode is progressive and renders the typical film frame rate, especially here in Europe because we have 25f which is almost the filmic 24f. Instead in USA you can film with the XHA1 in 30f AND 24f!!!

    Ciao, parli bene italiano! Diciamo che se c'è una cosa che in Svizzera è limitata è proprio il cinema. Qui è pieno di gente che vorrebbe fare qualcosa ma non c'è assolutamente la cultura del cinema. Però se uno è molto bravo può lavorare nella pubblicità e li la qualità è altissima, si gira quasi tutto in 35mm, ma si deve andare a Zurigo o Basilea per questo.
