A work in progress by Meara O'Reilly, film by Lisa Foti-Straus. Salt is scattered on a metal plate electronically driven and sung into. Songs are written based on sequences of patterns in the salt.

The most impressive thing I've seen today, by a considerable margin.

So...the silverware's a peculiar presence, I think; one would look for a MIDI box or at least a guitar pedal with an arduino in it. Fine editing nonetheless. Additionally, I was hoping for some of that Naruto sand-jutsu and it just never revved up to backing, breakbeats and change-ups. Add photocells that watch the plate and sing back or interrupt otherwise, and soon!
