The story behing this film is a stupid Ichat conversation with my buddy Thomas Bertrand. The result is 2 tickets to Tokyo, a script in my pocket, ten days to find comedians and shoot it without any money. I'm really happy by the experience and will surely do it again !

Although the story was kinda creepy...
=D
XD
Overall though, a cool vid.
Peut-être c'est pareil comme "Paris, Texas" de Wim Wenders, ou "Arizona Dream" d'Emir Kusturica, pour les américains.
On dit que ces films sont plus appréciés ailleurs qu'aux États-Unis.
myspace.com/sebumusique, actually she's a musician too. glad it make you laugh. when you'll get there you'll love it
PS The photography and edit was very well done. Your use of very little music was refreshing. It fit the story perfect.
Very well constructed story. A 'like' a lot.
Thnx for sharing.
Quite complicated to do, since when I arrived in Japan the story wasn't finished, I didn't have the comedian. I had nothing so I changed the story when things started to add
Loved the locations too.
I'm gonna stick with Amsterdam first though.
I'm thinking about making a few shorts in London, Paris and Eastern Europe this summer. You life in Paris right?
Is it nice at night or somewhat boring?
But first I'm making a video clip here in Amsterdam for a contest on filmmaking.net (you should do it too, paris-style!)
You actually got me thinking of the locations cos you told me my city has great stuff to shoot (I never even thought about it until then) thanks for that!
you never know in Amsterdam...
anyway, this was super cool. I felt like I was in those streets... funny too.
Good Job Kitsuney.
Give me some news about your new project :D
you just ruined everything ^^
Bon j adore, of course. Desole pour la reaction tardive.
(I love it, good job, congratulations)
thanks for your comment Musubi

After some searching, I found the original article I read here:
search.japantimes.co.jp/cgi-bin/fd20051023t1.html
The video started out pretty interesting and cool (with a slight hint of humor) and it took a turn for the creepy in the end.
Too bad for the stead, I hope I had one too ... ( way over budget ... )
thanx for the comment
You can't beat a steadycam made out of $14 of material. Even if you can't build any, the guy who came up with the idea will make one for you for $50.
i had mixed feelings about the way the story plays out (i thought the light, comedic tone may have clashed a bit with the stark fates of the transgressors), but i'm so transfixed by your simple, cinema-verite style and solid, visual storytelling that you'll probably have me back here watching your films as long as you continue making them.
Thanx a lot for your comments I really apreciate it ( even the mixed feelings part ^^ ). Put some kind of pressure though for the next one ... It'll be better !
