This is a time-lapse video of a 20'x30' American Flag being installed on the ceiling above Warrior's Way, outside the emergency room at Craig Joint Theater Hospital at Bagram AB in Afghanistan. The old Flag is being retired and Adopt-a-Soldier Platoon volunteered to procure a new one for the hospital. AaSP bought the Flag from Apollo Flag in Totowa, NJ, a distributor for Annin Flagmakers of Roseland, NJ. The new Flag was dedicated at the Pentagon's 9/11 Memorial, thanks to the office of the Vice Chief of Staff of the Army, GEN John F Campbell and his assistant LTC Scott Virgil. It was then held over the East steps of the Capitol building in Washington, DC, by House Committee on Veterans' Affairs Chairman Jeff Mill (FL-01); then it was delivered to Annin Flagmakers (Bob Caggiano, VP) and they made adjustments to the Flag such as adding fabric channels and grommets so it could hang properly; then it was unfurled at the studios of Fox & Friends with Elisabeth Hasselbeck and employees from DHL Express (and a Vietnam Veteran Daniel Alonzo who happened to be there). Then DHL Express took custody of the Flag and shipped it immediately to its hub in Cincinnati where it was carefully loaded and shipped to Afghanistan. From the time at Fox & Friends to the time it arrived at Bagram AB, it was less than 48 hours! Then it was installed on the ceiling of Warrior's Way and this is the time lapse of that installation and the taking down of the previous Flag.
