Local Bluesman Kevin Midgley's been playing around Portland for decades, his album "Closed for the Season" is a real keeper & sounds as fresh as the day he released it. Front of this past Fridays program I had four local folk singers perform on air plugging a gig for a "Song Writers by the Sea" series hosted by Peaks Isle resident UK "transplant" Phil Daligan. Putnam's been in the are for a spell and here is a song as he says inspired by his grandfather. www.PutnamSmith.com I elected to leave the camera sound one this one since it's fairly good.
