ABC Open Goulburn Valley Plus
Inspired by late night readings of Tintin as a kid, Benj Binks has spent the last decade travelling the world discovering cultures, places, people, and stories, which he has relayed through blogging, photography and film. Back in Violet Town in North East Victoria, he has been putting the finishing touches on his feature length documentary, Mongolian Bling, as well as running Doco3000, a documentary group in Melbourne that brings like-minded people together for screenings, feedback, networking and collaborating. Benj has taught both English and photography abroad, and is now looking forward to working closer to his home, and helping tell stories of the region where he grew up.
