Andre Beriault is a Director of photography and Technical workflow engineer in HD24p digital video showing over twenty five years experience in photography and set lighting and more recently in digital cinematography.

Born in Ottawa, Canada, Andre Beriault finished there his classical college education in “arts”; this education was his early inspiration in creation and the forms of beauty. One mentor and teacher in these early days, was the acclaimed Dutch painter and photographer, Hans Van Der AA. It is this work that started monsieur Beriault’s love affair with portraiture and storytelling about hope and beauty.

Following studies in Communications & Photography at the Montreal School of fine Arts, he then traveled to England to study History of Art.

Many of his photo works have been shown in Quebec City, Montreal, Chicago, New-York and Moscow. One photo was particularly selected for the Canadian Cameras at Work exhibition the was held in Beijing in the summer of 2009.

In the film field, Andre Beriault has worked as director of photography on several short movies and produced and directed a short drama video, “Resurrection”, that was recently selected for film festivals in New-York city and London, Canada. He is currently at work on a documentary (3 x 26 minutes) about the world renown artist and humanist Gregory Pototsky.
