Abstract:groove is a hybrid between a creative collective and a motion design studio, founded by filmmaker and designer Luigi Pane and executive producer Giada Risso.
The studio, based in Milan, mainly works on design and direction of uncommon audiovisual projects in communication and advertising.
Since 2004 the team have directed projects for international brands like Diesel, Dolce&Gabbana, Gianfranco Ferrè, Hogan, Pirelli, Total and Luxottica.
In 2008 abstract:groove became the Italian revelation at the Epica Awards, the prestigious advertising award, receiving gold as best European on-line film with the Diesel Kid “ Explorers of the Past and Future" advertising campaign.
